The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives successfully conducted a two-day forum that commenced on 25th July, dedicated to devising a roadmap for a stable, agile, and transparent governance system within the country. The event, a cornerstone of the ‘Turnaround Pakistan’ initiative, brought together over 300 participants, including 60 esteemed speakers. CEO of Naqcode Technologies, Dr. Messam Naqvi, graced this event as a distinguished speaker, leaving an indelible mark with his visionary insights.
As the “Pakistan Governance Forum 2023” unfolded, Dr. Messam Naqvi shed light on his company’s mission. Dr. Naqvi discussed Naqcode Technologies, a tech startup focusing on harnessing Pakistan’s highly qualified workforce, particularly in engineering disciplines. Dr. Messam Naqvi lamented the limited opportunities available to engineering talents in Pakistan. He highlighted Naqcode Technologies’ unique role as a computational design company specializing in the design, analysis, and optimization of solutions. Their clientele spans North America, Gulf countries, and Europe, a testament to the caliber of work originating from Pakistan.
During his speech, Dr. Naqvi even provided a live demonstration of an innovative app under development. He expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Innovation Fund for their invaluable support, which had paved the way for such pioneering initiatives. Furthermore, He shared his vision for the future. He emphasized the need to promote the private sector more vigorously, advocating for more remarkable initiatives with higher magnitudes. Dr. Naqvi firmly believed that the grants provided would not only be a success but also a wise investment.
Dr. Naqvi also expressed his concern about the prolonged dependence of the private sector on the public sector. He called for a more autonomous and dynamic private sector that could lead Pakistan towards unprecedented growth and innovation.
